Our entrance hall has been on todo list for a while. It was no too practical and rather dark. As a weekend project it was renewed into something like this.

More space for shoes, I like the wood, slight oriental vibe of it, spacy bench and the black frame mirror on the wall. 

On a quick visit to Stockmann I saw a new table lamp by Kartell and I think I can't get it off my mind. I don't even exclude pink and baby blue! 

for the hair

Balmain hair product line has got some new additions like shampoos and conditioners as well as leave-in conditioner. I couldn't resist and bought a volume shampoo and a leave-in conditioner (tried and couldn't be more happy about!) and I had to get the hairspray too since I am really addicted to the smell of them. Floral Hair bands and summer hat are from Tiger store at 2 eur. My hair is happy!

Panama hat

Got myself a Panama hat from Tiger store at 7 eur and it happens to be just perfect, that's all...

warm nights

The heat wave is continuing and nights are so warm and also very expected after a whole day of hassle in the heat and sun. 

listen to the music

Just sit outside in the warm summer evening and listen to your favorite tunes. It's all about John Legend's One Again album for me now...

And 6 days in Saint-Petersburg went fast. It is exceptionally hot now and I am starting to run out of style inspiration. Summer...

Drive to the nature and find a place where you can see horizon so much that it gets curvy as the earth. The best.

Quick morning visit to Helsinki winter garden. My white boyfriend jeans have been quite heavy duty recently. Finally found a relaxed fit that I like.

It's got a little cooler, so much for the summer talk earlier. Easy to layer a basic maxi jersey dress with your favorite knit and I love the touch of cognac leather for summer.

Visited summer Turku today. It was sunny and I got a new long floral skirt in one of the shops. Couldn't wait to change into it immediately.

One of the most beautiful music pieces I know - Elegie by Rachmaninoff. It suits to  warm summer afternoons especially well.

peonies

it is the season of peonies now. My favorite are the foamy light pink ones. The princess of flowers.

camomiles

It's very beautiful July weekend. Camomiles are in bloom. So simple but so beautiful. My little man loves them too.

beige knits and blue dishes

During my Mallorca trip I made a great purchase at Massimo Dutti - a simple cotton beige knit. It goes with everything in my wardrobe. 

Pay attention to my casual hairstyle: mummy's "in the moment" shot. 

And I am still loving the blue & white prints as you can see.
