Wedge Sneakers At Last

I think wedge sneakers are starting to become a wardrobe classic because it has been quite some time since they appeared and became a hot trend. I finally dared to buy a pair when I found Ash ones on the Outnet.

Single color ones are probably more practical but there were no sized left and i went for a multi-color.

Here is a relaxed weekend outfit I can not wait to wear.

 

In a creative mood i found a minute to print some Garance Dore's illustrations in the office and framed them. Here is my tiny fashion corner.

Creme de la Creme & Nude Pumps

How  dull is a black skirt suit, actually?  I really COULD wear a matching skirt and a blazer without looking like a sexy librarian or a hotel staff. The key is to build your outfit on contrasts (relaxed T underneath) and to go for a nude leg look. I will be wearing my Michael Kors patent pumps with a Zoe Karssen T shirt to make my skirt suit look modern. Gold tone jewelry adds some sharpness to the look.

Creme de la Creme sweatshirt is also a great basic for a weekend look. Here is mine:

By the way, here is my most recent second hand recent second hand purchase - a purple leather belt with a metal bow. I will be wearing this with everything, literally.

FURLA & I

Color blocking in bags has been one of the trends i really felt is "my thing". I will be chanelling it with my new Furla mini tote. As you may have noticed, i really do have a crush for a royal blue color recently.

Here are the outfits i could wear my new bag with. So it is a well justified purchase, right?

Red, Blue & White

...are my favourite colors right now. Recently I have been doing a wardrobe clean up and I am trying to buy only items that really last.

Little Red Dress - tick, white blazer - tick, nautical striped blazer - tick. All from Boden. I have been buying a lot of kids clothes from Boden and once also ordered a skater dress which i love for its softness and perfect fit. So I really keep my fingers crossed for these parcel. Hope it arrives soon...

One of the ways I would like to wear this red dress is a bit unconventional perhaps. Soon I will show it on the blog. My recent second hand purchase will make it look special... And blazers are too be paired with jeans and shorts, naturally.

Pastel Tweed & YSL

Just a normal working Tuesday and just a normal working outfit. My Zara tweed jacket from summer 2012 sales went to the office today after some break.

After work i drove to post office to pick my YSL book that i ordered earlier in Amazon. I used to collect art books / coffee table books and now my new passion is fashion and fashion illustration books. Next must have is "Sartorialist", which they have also on NAP.

LV Infinit Cuff

My recent LV necklace purchase turned out to be not too successful as the sharp edges of it started to hurt my skin. Finally I got it exchanged to a leather cuff, recently arrived to LV store, in a blush colour with a tiny lock that is a very pretty detail. It reminds me of a Hermes Collier de Chien bracelet I like a lot but that one is too rough for me and this LV Infinit cuff is a good alternative.

The first outfit I would like to build around this cuff are the basic clothes i could wear on a sunny spring weekend day. White knit always looks great as do the dark skinny jeans. Tory Burch Amanda bag has become my favorite (a bargain from The Outnet), Tory Burch boots are still on a wish list and grey coat is on its way from Zalando (hopefully, this one fits after a disappointing purchase with French Connection).

In addition to the coat I found a pair of quite interesting shoes. Already for some time I have been searching for a pair of red heels but I do not yet feel ready to get the classic killer heel version. These ones (see below) felt own at first glance. The outfit below is something I am planning to wear to the office as soon as my shoes arrive.

WoMIUn's Day

Today is the International Women's Day and my Miu Miu clutch could not have arrived at a better time. Love it. It will complete many of my work and weekend outfits, I am sure.

Today I went for a black & white line wearing my very old H&M Trend jacket and Zara black shift dress. Bow necklace is Marc Jacobs and shoes are exactly same but mine are Högl.

Recently I have been able to gather quite many of my key wardrobe pieces into my new app. Below are the two outfits from this week. I like wearing shorts - show some leg but same time more relaxed than a skirt. My short never sit tight because i think it is not office appropriate but I like wearing them to work.

Red silk shirt - Mango, plaid shorts - H&M, necklace - Marc Jacobs, ring - YSL, shoes - Högl.

Royal Blue and Style App

My recent crush is royal blue color and as I got a new app on my phone i can build and plan outfits and even add them to the calendar and wish list.

Here is the outcome.

My royal blue Peter Kaiser pumps are my absolute favourite, they make any outfit sophisticated and feminine.

Jacket - Zara, clutch - Miu Miu matelasse (on its way home now), necklace Tory Burch (on my wishlist), breton stripe knit - H&M.

I really love pencil skirts and for spring season i bought these two printed pieces from H&M.

 And this is my recent go-everywhere outfit; fur vest, Lancel Flirt bag, Missoni scarf and Michael Kors wellies. Ray Ban clubmasters in beige finish my look on a sunny weather. Tory Burch bracelet is often on my wrist.

 Here is my dream warmer weather outfit. All denim look + wish list DVF trapeze bag. YSL Arty adds sophisticated touch on a no-gloves-needed weather.Just add a simple trench and you are good to go!
