Today was a lazy slow start morning but in the end we headed to Hakaniemi. Hakaniemi Food Market Hall is famous for its fresh meats, fish and vegetables. but the real pearl of the Hall is its tiny soup restaurant called "Soppa Keittiƶ" with daily delicious menu of 3 soups and fresh bread with a herb oil dip (can not be found anywhere else except its second branch in the Old Market Hall of the Central Market Square).
Today we enjoyed the tomato and goat cheese soup with croutons and basil along with the conversation of some IT consultants in Russian. Luckily, I am on maternity leave and that was just an unpleasant background noise.

There is also a very authentic French deli shop in the same Market Hall, called Deli Deli. Various jams, sweets and special chocolate for sale there. I got one with the orange peels and with toasted almonds to try at home. the shop has an online store, go ahead and check those out! http://www.delideli.fi/fin/
In spite of this food oriented post, i am not forgetting about my goal of -10kg. I try to walk whenever possible, car is standing in the yard and waiting for better times. The little Man weighs 8kg so Body Pump is useless waste of money. And i got a new faithful friend, new iPod nano with its Nike Fitness applications counting my every step and calory that i lose. Mine is orange, of course. :)
