Exploring new Kluuvi

Today me and Leo took a long walk to the city. This time of the year is my favourite: nature is the happiest with all those golden colours on the trees. Helsinki is clearly going through the europeazation. At last they started to take those shopping galleries to the new level of experiences. Last time i have been to Kluuvi shopping gallery it looked like an outdated unpractical bunch of boring shops with 70s design. I could not believe what they have done with the place. Underground floor (K1) has Eat & Joy Food Market with its non-processed milk and meat goods, numerous juice and jogurt kinds, all organic and well, quite pricey. Ground floor has a Milk Bar styled like a Village shop with unpasteurized milk added to your latte. Unfortunately, i am not a coffee drinker but surely a consumer for a good organic chocolate. Especially a chocolate with a message for someone special. "You are a shining moon by night and a shining sun by day, but evenings you are a chocolate wrecker". Haha. Yes, and it is a bar of handmade dark chocolate. Remains to be seen whether the taste is as good as the message is witty. Yes, and 2OR+ by YAT has opened its flagship store on the 2nd floor of, should i say, nowadays glamorous Kluuvi. Brand's style is quite androgynous but with a feminine touch reflected in chiffon blouses and satin dresses with attractive prints, oriented on high quality fabrics and materials and practicality of clothes and accessories. Their a/w 2011 has  a variety of differently sized leather handbags in grey and black with lovely (and practical!) zipper pockets. One more point into my wishlist. Approved by Leo. :)

As far as the wishlists go, speaking of my approaching (sadly, 30th) birthday, i can't stop wishing for a November Santa, if such exists, to bring me a bag which says "Karen Millen" on it.

Among objects of desire is the perfect black dress with an amazing back crochet detail:

Frilled black beauty at a fraction of original price:

Or a nod to the jewellery tones of this autumn with this teal number:

And to close today's post, Diana Krall with her soft jazzy "The Look of Love" was accompanying us during the autumn city walk:

  1. I really like Karen Millen, it is a very popular trend in Spb, but unfortunately, not for my sizes (
