A Day at The Mansion: Cafe Latte Spirit

There are a few mansions in Helsinki capital area that have been preserved but there is one I had no clue about: Leppävaara Mansion well hidden from the city noise located on a shore in a naturally peaceful and authentic place yet just in the neighbourhood of city life and services.

I was quite intrigued and a bit sceptic (I admit) about the place when I read about it in the marketing message, but driving a long countryside road (supplied with tempting and so promising blackboard signs of the cafe of the mansion) was very rewarding. In addition to the historical buildings and zen views of nordic nature there is a cute decoration shop & cafe called Cafe Latte Spirit. So, if one is after countryside romantic decor in latte colours there is a new favourite shopping stop for such. Playground for kids, warming cup of tea, homeware shopping, a site for girls parties or just a spot to take a breathe of fresh air on a Saturday afternoon - this place got it all.

Thanks to lovely hostess and owner Leea, this was a bit of a fairy tale adventure for me and Leo: countryside spirit in the middle of city life, beautiful things, warm tea and a good conversation.
