Lux Helsinki @ Töölölahti and Sales Bargains

Helsinki has become the World Design Capital in 2012, which adds more fun to maternity leave walks for all the lucky mums with babies born recently. One of the initiatives of the Design Capital is Lux Helsinki program which is all about interesting light installations around the city.

Today (totally by chance, I admit) we went to check the Lantern Street in Töölö Bay of Helsinki. All differently shaped individual lanterns are hung on the trees. Our absolute favourites were:

The Medusas

and The Heart, the real one, with arteries and blood inside :)
and this is how the Park looks like

And now the most interesting, i finally got a better camera, it is not pro camera, but almost like that.
Olympus SZ-10, it was a bargain from sales, naturally. Can not wait to see what sort of pictures I can take with it.
"It packs an impressive 18x wide optical zoom lens (28-504mm*), 14 Megapixels and a raft of innovations that deliver superb image quality for HD movies and stills." - says a review on Amazon. Let's see...it is being charged now.

Here comes the photo taken with my new camera with one of the Magic modes available in it - Sparkle. These cute muffin pots are great for small things storage.
